Distributed Learning offers B.C. families and learners an alternative for learning within the K-12 education system.

Distributed Learning (DL) is recognized and supported by the B.C Ministry of Education and allows for learning to be observed and documented through indirect communication between students and teachers, including Internet, email, and teleconferencing.

The SelfDesign Distributed Learning Community facilitates learning beyond the classroom and traditional schooling, bringing parents, learners, and teachers (referred to as Learning Consultants) together online on a daily, weekly and seasonal basis to support the natural learning path of your child(ren).
