Forty years ago, our founder Brent Cameron incorporated SelfDesign® Learning Foundation as a charity in British Columbia, launching the great adventure in personalized learning called SelfDesign.
Over the coming months, we’ll be launching exciting events and initiatives to mark the past four decades of “Lifelong Personalized Learning” at SelfDesign. There’ll be contests, videos, features on the SelfDesign Blog, a commemorative book, and more!
In preparation for that, we’re excited to introduce our new 40th anniversary logo and theme: “Celebrating Lifelong Learning.” The logo and tagline will appear on our website, social media channels, email signatures, and promotional giveaway items throughout 2024.
Share your SelfDesign memories and stories!
We’ve begun collecting memories, stories, photos and artifacts of SelfDesign from across our community, and we’d love to include yours, too!
We’ll be using these contributions to celebrate SelfDesign and our community in posts on our Blog, in social media campaigns, in videos, and in a commemorative book.

So many people have helped shape SelfDesign over the past four decades. We want to acknowledge their contributions and include their memories and stories, too.
