Four learners came together to spearhead development of SelfDesign’s first-ever official Commencement Scrapbook. Drawing on the tradition of the highschool yearbook, the scrapbook provides each commencing learner with a collection of memories created by and for their peers.
SelfDesign wishes all the learners of the Class of 2021 many joyous adventures and discoveries as their learning journeys continue through the coming years.
Meet Jessica and Lacey, the two learners whose designs appear on SelfDesign’s own Orange Shirt Day t-shirts. Learners were invited to submit designs for an Orange Shirt Day t-shirt, and all SelfDesign learners were then invited to vote on the designs.
Being part of SelfDesign transformed this family, says this mother of five former SelfDesign learners. “It completely changed the way that we raised our children and made our family 100 times better than it had been before.”
