The report reflects on our work and celebrates the many accomplishments the foundation, its learners, families, educators and supporters achieved over the last year — accomplishments we all can be proud of.
As you read through it, you will see that we continued our mission of successfully providing self-authored and project-based educational programs. For example, in 2023:

- More than 2,360 learners in kindergarten to grade 12 learners were enrolled with SelfDesign® Learning Community, supported by 174 educators, about 2,500 external support-service contractors, and 77 administration and operations contractors. Of these learners, 136 completed their SelfDesign learning journeys with a Dogwood Diploma, Adult Dogwood Diploma or School Completion Certificate.
- More than 320 learners were registered as homeschoolers through SelfDesign® Home Learning.
- Almost 150 learners took part in at least one learning activity every month through HomeLearners Network, which presented 595 real-time activities throughout the year.
The commitment, passion and contributions of our entire community were integral and essential to the year’s successes.
